currently untitled

I have sensed so much darkness in people's brains, this photo reminds me of their minds.

Master and apprentice

Master and apprentice.

An old man and a young man are talking to eachother.

When the old man hears of the young man's achievements he says he feels forlorn that his own life hadn't been like this.

The young man disagree's and says, 'Come now, you have done many things and achieved much'

The old man says, 'No, I am a fool before your achievement'

The young man's attitude changes now and he finally says, 'If you would be willing to change what you have had and what you have done, that is, your natural path as a man I am ashamed to say I will have to surpass you as I follow none of these ideals.'

The old man doesn't understand and changes the subject.

To boldly go where no photographer has been before

Lifeform

I wanted to do a blog tonight called, 'another boring nice photo' which was going to be an attack on photographs that look nice for about one second and then you don't want to look at them anymore, but if I was to put one of my boring nice photos up I would be just as bad wouldn't I. So I really hope from now on I can just select the great photographs. I mean everyone has a million photo's now because of digital and its all to easy really and then you cant select one so you pick anything, thats what people do I think. I'm pissed off and bored by it all, the flimsyness of it all, surely we can say something definitive a few times withour magic photo box machines.

You know we are aliens don't you but we just don't admit it. Thats why we have all these crazy inventions and big monkey brain technologies. Fuck boring nice photographs, I don't just want mild mystery I want full blown fucking witchery. hahhahahahaa

subversive figures exhibition

'Toy soldier' by Robert Bradford

Robert Bradford

Hey there, I went to the 'subversive figures exhibition last night and had a really good time, everyone was really cheery and the atmosphere was healthy, unlike the show at the newlyn arts gallery last weekend. It was held at the St. Ives society of artists gallery which is a beautiful renovated chapel in Norway square.

It is ''An exhibition of figurative painting and sculpture which explores the strange territory and occasional overlap between the beautiful and the ugly.''

The show is made up from a group of artists working in Cornwall, they are; Robert Bradford, Una d'Arigona, Sue Dove, Ian Dunlop, Sara Jenkins, Karen Lorenz, Penny Macbeth, Morwenna Morrison, Lisa stuart, Linda styles.

My favourite piece was 'Toy soldier' by Robert Bradford, a huge sculpture of a space age type soldier made of old toys that greats you with his pink gun as you enter the exhibition. I spent so much time being excited about it that I didn't really give the other works much time which is a shame, maybe i'll go back when i'm not tired and pissed on cheap booze.

I wish them all the best, sound as a pound. check out their blog;
