Seek and you shall find......

If they know not and know not that they know not, shun them.
If they know not and know that they know not, awaken them.
If they know and know that they know, follow them.

Adaption of 'Arabian saying', extract from 'The unknown craftsman' by Soetsu Yanagi.

The original text uses 'man' as the subject so I changed it to 'them' to incorporate women also.

I have learnt so much today and excepted many failures today (past and future also) and given much today and laughed a lot today.

Michel on a mission

Michel Francois at his wheel, Caerlean studio, march 2010.

Yesterday I payed a visit to my friend and trusted colleague Michel. He is currently producing hundreds of porcelain teacups in preparation for our journey to France to serve Chinese tea. Listening to Mahler's symphony no.1 on a loop Michel stated he cannot listen to any other sound at the present time.

rising ramble

I live within a society that doesn't know how to communicate. After thousands and millions of years I am here now as a human being called Jacob Ross Bodilly. My instincts are intact but The humans before said that they are 'not needed here thank you very much' and everyone got a bit too clever so that what could do more, does less and the cycle is downwards and sidewards. I want to rise above and be something other than myself. I will use my body as a landing place for my flight into the everthing but then no one will know what I am, but I will have to just deal with that wont I, because empathy is in a pathetic position like an insane victim. However strong you must keep up the fight or die worthlessly. Rise above yourself you egotist.

Note to reader; I am not one anything.

Doom

Doom

I have lost my best friend. My heart is gone, I live for another day.

An hour of thought after 24 years as a human.

When a man has everything it is like a great weight upon him.
When a man has nothing even death is not a worry.
Following the scent of desire can lead to dead ended paths.
The way back to one begins with a walk of shame.
As a force you will repel and attract.
As a centre you can accept nothing and expect everything.
Watching the war of balance becomes a small theatre.
The forces are elemental, experienced only whilst we are conscious.
Floating within the ether of forces we struggle to resist, we weaken into bonds.
In view of the play we realise we would be terrible actors.

I'm Back

Yxing style teapot on fire at 1300 degrees centigrade, by author, march 5th.

It took some time but now I can blog again, I have been on an emotional roller coaster.
Me and Michel Francois are going to Paris to serve Chinese tea at a performance of music and storytelling. All the pots are hand made by us also, a trade little practiced in the west. Hopefully will get some photo's. I'm taking film camera's mainly because I've had so much trouble with technology lately. cheers
